The State Taxation Administration of China issued Announcement No. 2, 2026, which states that the Value-Added Tax (VAT) export rebate for abrasive products under HS Code 6805.1000, 6805.2000, 6805.3000 will be discontinued, effective April 1, 2026. This adjustment is a broad macroeconomic measure applicable to all exporters within the industry.
